Product features Composition with Large Red Plane, Yellow, Black, Grey and Blue (1921) by Piet Mondrian, a pioneer of abstract art and co-founder of De Stijl. In this work, Mondrian reduced forms to pure geometry and color, stripping away representation to explore harmony through opposites. It was purchased in 1921 by Jo Steijling, funding Mondrian’s move to a larger Parisian studio. The painting is oil on canvas, sized 59.5 × 59.5 cm, and housed at the Kunstmuseum Den Haag, The Hague. Part of the Art Movement Collection.
